11.-13.9.2008 Helsinki, Finland
What is the event?
As this is Nokia's first event of this nature, the attendees have been limited and hand-picked to form a global selection of users, from the thought-leaders in their particular field to the average user.
All participants were recognised through their love, passion and sustained appreciation of the social media, co-creative technology, and how they affect us all. The participants have been picked for their love of discussion on the subjects and to contribute actively in the workshops that will be taking place on the future of these subjects.
In addition to invited social media voices, Nokia employees from different parts of the company will be attending the event and taking part in the workshop sessions. Nokia participants include familiar faces and new friends from Nokia Beta Labs, Nokia Pilots, Nokia Reseach Center, Services & Software and Devices organisations.
Facilitators
Each of the event's workshops will be introduced by a facilitator who is an expert on the theme that the workshop focuses on. The facilitators will lead the discussion in the workshops and also participate in the groupwork by providing their insights and expertise. The following facilitators have been invited by Nokia for Nokia Open Lab 2008:
