The year 2009 saw an unparalleled opportunity for delegates to be totally immersed in Nokia World. The Experience lounge brought to life many of the journeys we make every day, and showed how Nokia solutions help you to stay seamlessly connected throughout those journeys. It further promoted interaction and informed delegates of the latest Nokia solutions through four themed areas – Discover, Play, Share and Organise.

These areas provided an opportunity to explore each theme in more detail using exciting demonstrations.

Nokia World Speakers' corners

The Nokia World Speakers' corners - which were found in all four of the themed areas - featured presentations from high-level speakers as well as interactive sessions throughout the day including Roundtable discussions and Nokia World Lightning talks.

Roundtable discussions

The Roundtable sessions nurtured lively discussions which helped develop and shape tomorrow’s solutions for today’s challenges. They were a truly collaborative and insightful forum where ideas were openly shared between the moderator and guests. Prior to the event, delegates were able to vote on topics of interest. The selected topics were visible on the four theme area agendas Discover , Play , Share and Organise.

Nokia World Lightning talks

Nokia World 09 also gave delegates the chance to present freely on a chosen subject within the broader theme of each area. The Nokia World Lightning talks enabled guests to book ten minute slots to share their views, opinions and knowledge.
