For the Nokia N97 mini our "Always Online" demo demonstrates the versatility and exciting improvements of the Nseries Homescreen - the consumer’s window to their internet life. Our "Social Networking" demo shows an exciting new way to share your everyday life with your Facebook friends.
For the Nokia N900 our demos introduce the next evolution of the Maemo OS, where computer performance is brought to handset size – to power exciting new UI and internet solutions. We will show many new, cool features and services as well as the Maemo-style PC-like multitasking, which allows many applications to run simultaneously through the live dashboard.
We will also showcase the new software release for the Nokia N97, with new applications such as Skype and Vlingo and exciting improvements to the Nseries Homescreen being among the many new features that consumers will experience after the upgrade.

Traffic Works with Navteq
Traffic Works aims to optimise the car navigation experience by collecting and reporting real-time traffic flow data from GPS-enabled mobile phones while protecting phone users’ privacy. The environmental and human stress impact of traffic and the time spent commuting between locations inspired Nokia Research Center to study the use of mobile devices to mitigate the impact.
This is a combined research effort by Nokia Research Center and the University of California, Berkeley's California Center for Innovative Transportation, in collaboration with Navteq.
