John Anthony Evans
During the Summit John Evans will share his most recent project with Nokia Design; an exploration into tools for day to day financial transactions. For the past 12 months at Nokia John has been exploring, from a design perspective, what it means to store and exchange value. A process that involved extensive research and design activities, culminating in designs for both hardware and applications.
John Evans originally hails from the UK and is currently working with Nokia Design in Finland where he focuses his energies on creating new and ever more intuitive forms of services and interactions. Passionate about design overall and design strategy in particular, John focuses on discovering and predicting new needs and behaviours on a global scale and turning them into reality.
John is also one of 3 cofounders of MultiTouch, a company focusing on innovative modular large scale multi-touch displays. MultiTouch has blossomed from the original 3 founders to 20 employees over the course of the past 3 years. John still maintains some interest at MultiTouch in addition to his role at Nokia.
