Anthony is in his 12th year of working for Nokia. He is a Canadian, and a graduate of Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario Canada.
Michael Goddard
Senior Software Engineer, Nokia
Michael is a senior software engineer in Nokia, Qt Developer Frameworks. He works primarily on the Qt Mobility project, leading a team focusing on Personal Information Management APIs and related areas. He joined Nokia via the Trolltech acquisition, and is currently based in sunny Australia. Prior to working for Trolltech, Michael worked in the United States on a range of projects for embedded hardware, including web browsers and runtimes, and PC crisis recovery software.
When not working to improve Nokia's MeeGo Application Developer offering he relaxes by reading and doing taichi.

Dr. Karsten Homann
Head of Developer Offering
Karsten Homann is managing the execution of the new Nokia developer offering, in particular the developer tools for Qt based native development (Nokia Qt SDK), as well as web and Java development.
He joined Nokia in 2008 through the Trolltech acquisition in 2006, where Karsten was responsible in the corporate executive team for the professional services organization (VP PSO). Karsten has over fifteen years of experience in various executive management positions in the mobile and embedded devices industry, including VP Software and VP Next Generation at Siemens. He holds a PhD in computer science from University of Karlsruhe, Germany. A German national, he currently lives between Helsinki, Oslo, San Francisco, Berlin and Munich.

Thomas Strehl
Thomas Strehl manages the development of Qt related developer tools as well as contributing to the overall Nokia native developer offering, especially the Nokia Qt SDK.
He joined Nokia in 2008 through the Trolltech acquisition. Prior to his current management position he worked several years as Senior Software engineer allowing him to build up strong technical competencies. Thomas lives in Berlin and enjoys running through nearby woods.

Senior Product Manager, Nokia
Senior Product Manager for Qt Developer Frameworks originally joined Trolltech in 2006. Since joining the company, Thiago has worked as a developer and release manager for Qt. Based in Oslo, Norway, he has an MBA and a double degree in Engineering. These days, Thiago spends the majority of his time thinking about the future of Qt, and giving presentations to anyone and everyone that will listen!
Thierry Bastian
Thierry is a software engineer who joined Trolltech/Nokia in 2006. He comes from
France where he graduated in Computer Science from Nancy Engineering School ESIAL.
Prior to joining Qt Development Frameworks he spent 4 years working as a software
engineer leading Qt-based projects. Now he leads the UI team in Oslo who's
responsible for UI concepts and components in Qt.

Daniel Rocha
Daniel Rocha is a Senior Technology Expert at Nokia. He joined in 2005, following several years of experience as a software developer for web and telecommunications companies. As part of Forum Nokia, Nokia’s developer relations organization, Daniel gives third party developers expert technical support and consultancy in the areas of: Java ME, Symbian C++ and Qt. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, he’s also an active speaker in Forum Nokia’s events in the United States and Latin America. A Brazilian national, he’s currently based in Mountain View, California, and loves living in the Silicon Valley.

Ronan MacLaverty
Ronan Mac Laverty joined Nokia Research in 1997 where he worked on CORBA, and embedded software components. After a brief stint a GE Healthcare, he returned to Nokia and is now Nokia's MeeGo Developer Advocate. Prior to research into software, he has also worked in the fields of room acoustics in Trinity College Dublin (where he obtained a MSc.) and multi-modal multimedia at Tampere University of Technology. He has been writing code since the days of the ZX81, and has worked as a researcher, coder, designer and architect since he graduated as an Electrical and Electronic engineer from Queen's University Belfast.

Gerard Loughran
Gerard is a Senior Product Manager at Nokia, Qt development Frameworks and is based out of our Brisbane Development Centre.
One of Gerards key focus areas is the Qt Mobility program, and the introduction of new APIs into our Qt product.
Previously Gerard was our Global Director for Consultancy at Trolltech and commenced with the company in 2004.

Michael Samarin
Michael Samarin has been developing software professionally since 1994 and holding Ph.D in Computer Science since 1997. His portfolio includes projects in areas ranging from military forensic investigations and video surveillance to interactive media showrooms, projection systems and mobile applications. Michael is currently leading multiplatform mobile development team in software and project house Futurice Ltd., fastest growing Finnish technology company of 2008.
No'am Rosenthal
No'am is a software architect at Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks in Redwood City, California. He joined the team in 2007, following several years of experience with mobile, embedded, desktop and web development, switching several times between writing applications and developing the frameworks on which they rely.
As part of the Qt segment product management group, No'am helps key companies, mainly in the TV industry, to deliver successful solutions with HTML5 using Qt, and actively participates in QtWebkit development.
He is also a bass guitar player.
